Elko County Independence Day
This year’s Independence Day Celebration on the 4th of July will
be like no other! We will bring the Spirit of Independence Day to life for all our
County residents, friends, family and visitors from surrounding states.
Box Seats that seat 6
are $ 125.00, VIP Box Seats that seat 12 are $500.00 and the show starts at
7:30pm. All proceeds from the festival,

The Elko Area Chamber of Commerce
Government Affairs Committee, the Elko County Commission,
and the U.S. Forest Service
will hold a public meeting to discuss the
ECONOMIC IMPACT the PROPOSED ROAD CLOSURES
could have on Northern Nevada.July 15th, 2009 at 7:00 p.m. at the Elko Convention Center
This meeting will address the questions and concerns of
Chamber Member Businesses and Concerned Citizens
and the possible Economic Impact the Road Closures could have on Northern Nevada.
This meeting is Open to the Public
Businesses and citizens with questions for the panel should submit them in writing to the
Elko Area Chamber of Commerce no later than July 10th, 2009

"Stay and Play In Elko" is open to all area individuals, organizations and businesses in the Hospitality, Recreation and related Retail industries. Double Dice RV Park made the first submission; their listing serves as an example of what this program can do for you. Clicking on the "View our Video" link or on the still-frame from the video will take you to their You Tube video - the first listing found when you search Google for a phrase like "Elko NV RV Park", and then click on the video tab.
Promoters, organizations and groups involved with Festivals, Conventions and other Events have a similar opportunity under the "Great Basin Gatherings" banner. Submissions here include The Morrodders Car Club annual Gambler's Run Car Show, A.B.A.T.E. of Northern Nevada's Blessing of the Bikes, the Elko County Republican Party's Days of Liberty Picnic, The Elko Mining Expo, The Wholistic Living Expo and the Elko High School Band of Indians Jazz Fest and the Elko Motorcycle Jamboree.
Our goal is to create multi-page directories providing valuable information to tourists, travelers and those planning vacations or visits to the Elko area. Even if your business, attraction or event is already listed here or is posted in our calendar of events, we welcome you to submit more detailed information, along with photos, podcasts or videos. Content submitted will be optimized to enhance internet search engine results, driving more traffic to the Chamber's site, and to those participating in turn.
