ABOUT THE COMMITTEE

The Elko Area Chamber Government Affairs Committee is dedicated to review and educate on issues that affect economic vitality. Our purpose is to have a legislative presence for regulations, plans, and public policy that align with the vision of our business community; advocating to our elected officials on the local, state, and federal levels

GAC continues to follow important topics and issues that affect our community. Our meeting dates are listed below. Please bring a lunch (or not) and join us in the research library at the Elko County School district, located at 850 Elm Street in Elko. All are welcome!

If you feel that there is an important topic or issue that needs to be addressed, please feel free to email the committee at gac@elkonevada.com or call the Elko Area Chamber office 775-738-7135 and we will be happy to have someone from the committee look into it further.
